Captain
Trina Ayle Petrucci was born in May of 1979, and joined Civil Air
Patrol as a cadet in 1993 at the age of 13. Petrucci
distinguished herself as a cadet, earning the Billy Mitchell Award in
1995, the Amelia Earhart Award in 1997, and Ira C. Eaker Award in June
of 1998, at which time she was appointed a Cadet Lieutenant
Colonel. During her time as a cadet, Petrucci served as Cadet
Commander and Cadet Advisor to her squadron. Trina graduated from the Cadet Leadership School in 1995 as the Overall Honor
Graduate. In 1997 was
selected as the Cadet TAC Officer, a position which she held for three
years before becoming a Senior Member. 2002 will mark Trina's
sixth year on CLS staff, and her first year as Chief TAC. Captain
Petrucci entered the senior member ranks on May 12, 2000 as a 1st Lt (by
virtue of the Eaker Award) and was promoted to Captain in the spring of
2002. She is currently serving as the Public Affairs Officer and
Newsletter Editor for Michigan Wing's South Oakland Cadet
Squadron. Petrucci recently graduated
from Washtenaw Community College with an Associate Degree
