
Cadet Col. Elizabeth Dumont from the Michigan Wing receives the General Carl A Spaatz Award number 1684 from Lt. Gen. John L Hudson. Lt. Gen. Hudson is Commander of the Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The center is responsible for the management of more than 420 Air Force, joint and international programs, executes an annual budget of $19 billion, and employs a work force of approximately 11,000 people located at Wright-Patterson AFB and 38 other locations worldwide.
Lt. Gen. Hudson presented the Spaatz Award to Cadet Dumount at the Great Lakes Region Cadet Competition held at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Cadet Col. Dumont served as the Cadet Coordinator of the Great Lakes Region Cadet Competition. This is her third year serving on staff of the Region Competition. She will be pursuing a Bachelors of Science at Baker College in Michigan.
